I recently installed a Mac Pro on to our network running Windows XP at the desktop. I need to move files back and forth between Mac and Windows. How can I shared mac files between the two platforms. Is this possible? If so, what do I need to do.

Thanks,

Virbi

Try turning on SMB file sharing (if running Leopard). Open System Preferences in OS X, click Sharing, then File Sharing, Options..., then Share Files and Folders using SMB.

If not on Leopard, there should be a Windows File Sharing option to turn on under the Sharing tab.
