After failing to convince time machine to do what I want I've moved on to my next Macintosh project.

In our work group we have this setup:

3-G4s running 10.3.9 (these will not be upgraded to 10.4 or 10.5)
2-Intel G5s running 10.4.10 (maybe upgraded to 10.5 in the near future)
1-Power G5 running 10.5.1

The G4s are not airport ready.

I need a USB wireless network adapter to help these Macs connect to a wireless network. The wireless network is for time when the main network goes down (lately this has been often.)

I have done extensive searching and can not find a good solution as to a USB wireless network card. Belkin makes a product with Mac drivers but only 1 out of 5 versions will the card work.

If this was a PC situation my life would be easy - but alas this is a Mac place and I gotta work in it.

Any suggestions for Mac compatible USB wireless network. I know its too much to ask - but if the same model would work on all the above cards that would be just brilliant.

All G4's are airport ready. You can't use the current Airport extreme card but they all have the connectors and ariels to use the original airport card, which is easily found on ebay.

I would check out MacWireless.com - Wireless Enhancement Products for Macintosh

They have many different options. Both USB and PCI.
Quicksilver G4 NewerTech 1.6 GHz | 1.5 GB RAM | 500/160/40GB Internal HDs | Radeon 9800 Pro | 10.5.8
MacBook Pro 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo | 2GB RAM | 320 GB WD Scorpio Black | 10.6.2/Windows 7 Professional | 22" LCD
