I just upgraded to Leopard from Tiger, and while I love that bonjour-enabled storage devices appear under "Shared" in the Finder sidebar, I'm not pleased that my HP 2015dn laser printer does! It shows up under its Bonjour ID (npi1cf8a5 for those who are interested), and "get info" reveals "PC Server." Now this icon does strictly nothing because there is no file-level access to the printer (one can access the configuration pages from from the "Bonjour" tab under "Collections" in Safari).

So what I'm wondering is: I want to keep the Bonjour networking for the print server, but is there something else that I can turn off that will cause the printer's ID to disappear from the "Shared" category in the Finder sidebar? I've disabled SNMP access, to no avail. I could turn off HP SLP (does that mean "system locked preinstallation"?). I think that if I turn off LPD printing, I'll no longer be able to print to the printer. Is that correct?
