I have a new iMac, with Leopard & my fiancee has an older Macbook that I just upgraded to Leopard as well.

When both of has has airport switched on, and set up a network connection manually, she'll find my Mac & be able to connect as a guest, but I don't even see her Mac.
We just want to transfer files etc... It's allot quicker than having to write it to DVD & then copy it over.

Thanx

Why are you setting up a network connection manually? Are you creating a peer to peer wifi network?

When you're both connected to the same base station the Macs should be able to see each other. Perhaps you need to turn on File Sharing in the Sharing system preference.

Thanx, I'm fairly new to Mac's, it was just my File Sharing that wasn't setup right.

Works great now, I've even discovered a way to annoy my fiancee when I'm bored. With screen sharing, it really her annoys when I go on her macbook from my iMac.

Cheers
