My Motorola Razr works great as a modem, but I have to enter a new profile each time I plug it in. If I leave it plugged in (via a USB connection) I can connect and disconnect as many times as I want, but if I unplug it, the Mac will not remember it and says it doesn't exist the next time I plug it in, even though the settings remain on the machine. Is there any way I can get the Mac to remember this phone each time?

OK, I think I've got this figured out. You have to create a configuration for the telephone, give it a name and apply it. If you use the default configuration when you plug the phone in, you have to re-enter the information each time. If you create a new configuration, it will save the info. for the next use. Maybe simple for you Mac vets, but it took this former PC guy awhile to figure it out.
