Not a problem with OS X unless the user is a moron.
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Fortunately OS X or Linux boxes are not part of these networks. Unfortunately OS X and Linux users can still suffer from the damage caused by this plague.

IMHO any computer found to be part of a bot net should be confiscated by the authorities and demolished at the cost of the owner.

In other words, "stupidity should be painful?" I agree. I have a sister-in-law who, as smart as she is, is a horrible surfer. She'll click on anything, visit any site a search engine suggests, and so on, turning her Windows box into a box of worms (and trojans and other crapware). I can't get through to her that she has to think as much about where a link goes as she does where she's driving in the city at night. I haven't so much given up as accepted that no amount of effort on my part can create the concept of safe computer usage in her mind. Sadly, she just keeps on with her bad habits.

That's a typical case. Would she witness the authorities smash it with a sledge hammer until the largest piece left is the size of her pinky and then get handed a $20,000 bill, I'm sure should we would be willing to reconsider her browsing habits.
