Ok, I just moved into a new house and my roommate already had a FiOS network set up when I moved in. He had 2 macs hooked up wirelessly, one on 10.5 and one on 10.4. He also has a pc laptop hooked up that works fine too. However, my iMac, running 10.5 can see the wireless network and it accepts the password, however I can't browse the internet. It won't even let me configure the router from my computer. We are using the Verizon router (for now, going to add my time capsule when I get up and running) and we already had Verizon release the DHCP. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

The problem sounds definitely INTERNAL to your network, so Verizon won't be able to help you much. I would start out with the router's setup, and see if it includes MAC Address Filtering/Blocking. Your iMac may just not be "authorized" at the moment. Now some people will say "shouldn't the roommate remember this and have fixed it already?" Maybe. I have MAC Address Filtering on my wireless network and when I go to add a new device it almost always manages to kick my butt until I get around to looking at the router setup and "remember" that I have to add the new address to allow the new device. I should know better, but stuff happens and you forget. Check out the router setup before you start pulling your hair out.

Can you access and configure the router from another computer? Does your iMac's IP address look similar to the computers that can get on the 'net?

Like ghporter said, it could be MAC ("media access control") address filtering.

Ok, I'm on the router on another computer. According to my iMac, it has a much different IP address than the others. It says MAC Authentication: Disabled.

Ok, now I've run into a time capsule issue with this. So my time capsule is set up and i'm using the wireless N connection it is broadcasting just fine. However the light on it is still flashing yellow. I have it set up in bridge mode.
