My children like to use my PC running Windows XP home edition for internet fun. Sometimes their internet fun has gotten them in trouble with me. So I downloaded a VNC program so that I could screen share from my MacBook to the PC. It works, but only when I am signed in under my user account on Windows XP. I set up an account for each of my children so that they couldn't access mine. So, how do I wake up the PC from my mac, and how do I log-in to each account without losing the connection? Sorry if this is as clear as mud.

Take a look at Remote Desktop, made by Microsoft but running on the Mac.

Connect Across Platforms with Remote Desktop Connection | Mactopia

I don't know if it will wake up a Windows machine.
