What's the proper way to update firmware on Time Capsule. When i'm in Airport Utility, it show that a firmware update is available. I click the download button and then ultimately the install button. It automatically installs the firmware update to Time Capsule, but when the Time Capsule cycles its power to reboot after the update, I only see a yellow light (instead of green). I lose my internet connection!

Then I'm forced to turn everything off, restart the cable modem, restart time capsule, and then finally reboot the computer

Is this what everyone has to do when using Time Capsule?
I've updated 3 different firmwares over the past few months and i keep running into this problem.

help.

This sounds normal from my experience. Firmware updates routinely require a restart of the device being updated.

How long have you been leaving time capsule connected to the cable modem, waiting on an internet connection? Give it no less than five minutes for the cable modem to detect and authorize the Time Capsule's MAC address.

The reboot of TimeCapsule after a firmware update is normal. I'm not worried about that.
My issue is that fact that after the TimeCapsule reboot, it can't find my internet connection. I can wait hours and it just sits there with a yellow light. So i'm forced to unplug it.

Anyone who has TimeCapsule who recently updated can tell me what happened when they applied the new firmware.
