Prior to the latest AIrport firmware update, I noticed that all my wireless Time Capsule backups would leave console log entries like this:
Jun 22 22:53:38 Macintosh /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/MacOS/Finder[115]: StatusMonitor::volumesChangedCallBack returned -47
Backup sessions would also take painfully long; a few MB would take up to a half hour to complete. It seemed like Time Machine was spending more than half the time running a backup.
The 10.5.4 update didn't seem to fix either problem. However, with the Airport 7.3.2 update, the backups are much faster. I still get the -47 error but don't know what it means.
Has anybody else noticed that wireless backups are faster? And does anybody know what the -47 error for the Finder is? It seems to only occur when unmounting a Time Capsule drive.
