I just picked up a staples high speed 7 port usb hub and plugged it into my time capsule. I had originally had just my printer plugged into it. The hub is connected to a power adapter, so i thought that the usb power couldn't be part of my problem. I plugged in my external superdrive, my 500 GB My Book, which i had originally used for time machine backups, my printer, and my ipod/iphone dock. If i connect to time capsule through finder, it only shows my My Book, and there are no other devices in shared or any other part of my sidebar in finder. If i put my iphone on the dock, it will charge it, but it wont connect to iTunes. My superdrive won't show up at all, and my printer still works fine. All im really whining about is that i want ALL the devices to show up under the "shared" section on the sidebar in finder. I've also read a few threads about the MacBook air superdrive and some people have said that that superdrive wont show up unless directly connected to the MacBook, I was wondering if i can even connect my superdrive to the usb hub to the TC at all? If somebody could help me connect my dock and superdrive, and organize my sidebar, i know its kind of a lot to ask, but thanks for any help you can give me.

Time Capsule (and Airport Express) only support external hard drives and (some) printers. No support for optical drives, iPhones, mice, keyboards, joysticks, etc.
