Starting with the point of my story:
Is there any program out there that can analyze/repair/recover data from a networked drive (in this case Time Capsule) - whether it's connected wirelessly or ethernet?

So I've just been using my Time Capsule as a regular networked (wireless) drive, and had been storing my itunes music libary on it. I wanted to give Time Machine another go (it stopped working for me after the firmware upgrade a few months ago) - and figured I'd format the drive and start fresh.

So using Airport Utility - I choose to delete all the data off of the drive.

DOH!!! THEN I remembered that I was also using the drive for my itunes library.

I cancelled the deleting process as fast as I could - quit the Airport Utility. But now the drive is listed as empty (clean). I know that there wasn't enough time for the drive to wipe the entire 300Gb of data I had on there. Time Machine had worked at one point, so I had a sparse bundle of my laptop on there as well as my itunes library.

I've tried using Data Rescue II, but apparently it only recognizes drives that are connected via Firewire or USB - no network drives can be viewed/recovered. I tried connecting the usb port of the Time Capsule to the USB port on my MacbookPro - hoping that it would show up as a regular harddrive, but it didn't. I even got a ethernet-usb adapter and plugged the ethernet from the Time Capsule into the USB port of the laptop, hoping to fool Data Rescue II into thinking it was a USB drive ... no luck.

Is there any program out there that can analyze/repair/recover data from a networked drive - whether it's connected wirelessly or ethernet? There is data there to be recovered, I just know it!

Doubtful. You'll probably have to crack the TC open, extract the drive, and put it in an external drive case to get your iTunes library, if it's still there.
