I bought a used White base station because I'm still on dialup at home, but it's pswd protected (WEP?) ... No Biggie -- you simply paper-clip it and use Public as a pwd. Eh-Eh! (the lady who sold it didn't have a clue..)

So, I figured I'd go into APU and reset everything. But?! ...it does not see anything when it does a scan ...even tho' it shows a 'Mewomix' network with a lock behind the name .. and asks for the net's pwd. How can it see it ..and not see it too? Any thoughts on how to hack it? Thanks.

Assuming this is a UFO-shaped base station, use the "Airport Admin Utility for Graphite and Snow" instead of Airport Utility.
