Hello, I have a problem connecting to my AirPort Disk. I have it plugged into my AirPort Extreme, and it shows in AirPort Disk Utility, but I have no connection icon like I did in Tiger since I upgraded to Leopard. How can I connect to the AirPort Disk.

The Airport Disk is a Western Digital MyBook 250GB USB Drive. It has worked before the upgrade to Leopard.

Any help would be appreciated! Feel free to Message me at either, email removed or AIM EmmTeeProd.

Thank you!

Airport Disk Utility isn't really used anymore (and didn't work very well when it was used). Use Airport Utility to set up Airport disks.

I did try using the AirPort Utility to set them up, but I'm still getting errors. "Connection failed, contact your system administrator" etc....

Does the disk appear under Disks in Airport Utility? What settings do you have for it?

I mean on the Disks tab there (next to File Sharing), does your disk show up as being connected?

OK, so how are you trying to access the disk? It should appear in Finder windows on the left side. Have you tried simply power cycling the base station to see if it makes any difference?
