We have an epson large format printer paired up with a Wasatch RIP on a Windows XP. I've been printing fine from my mac but when we try to print from another mac we get a "Enter a Valid User ID" message when we hit the Print button. I've used the Print & Fax to create a new Printer in my list, selected the appropriate PPD and all just like the mac that works fine, but this other mac will always give me that message to "Enter a Valid User ID".
Can anyone PLEASE HELP? any suggestions? Thanks in advance

a lil more info, it is a IPP protocol printer, and through safari I can enter the IP address and connect to the RIP and upload a document to print through that. but I'm trying to get it to print directly through photoshop & illustrator.

That's weird. I don't know what would cause a different response on the other Mac if they are both identically configured.
