I'm trying to bridge a largish gap in a home wireless network. If I place an AEX in one place then a computer in the room that needs wireless can "just" about hop on, but it's not reliable.

I know that AEX's don't have the greatest antennae so I'm going to reconfigure the layout and move things around. My Q is, is it better to have a base station in place of the AEX to give a stronger output signal or better to place a base station IN the room hoping it has better antennae than the AEX.

So ABS broadcasting to AEX or AEX broadcasting to ABS, which way round does nayone recommend?

thanks
