Hello everyone, I really need help to solve my problem. Otherwise, I wil be sorry to buy macbook!
I have iPhone which it's ok to me, because I use it as usb modem for internet. It's high connection speed. Well, I use PDANet for that and this is the best software ever for iPhone connection. Then, I decided to buy Apple Macbook, because I thought it would be more useful with my iPhone! Unfortunately, I found it more complicated which Apple Macbook does not support iPhone in usb connection. Then, I decided to add windows xp vmware to my mac so i can use my iphone for connection (see how bad). Now, connection is working fine with xp vmware, but I need to use this connection to work with mac. I am not technical guy, but I imagine it is possible.
Can anyone help me with any of my problems? Mainly, I want to use my iphone as USB Modem internet connection (not WIFI)
Thanks

I think there are a couple reasons nobody's helped you out. First, it looks an awful lot like you're having trouble, not with a network issue per se, but with Fusion and its networking configuration. Second, in light of the above, it looks like your thread is in the wrong forum and should be in the Alternative OS forum.
You could perhaps provide a little more information, like what service pack level your Fusion XP installation is, what you've done to ensure that Fusion isn't the culprit, and so on. You say you're "not techinical" so maybe a thorough explanation of what you've looked at and tried will help us figure out where to start helping you out.

Basically you need an app that lets you use your iPhone as a USB modem, right?

What searching have you done so far? I'd hate to cover ground you've already looked at and rejected.

One thing that trips up people when they first get involved in using Macs is some terminology. What you're trying to do is called "tethering" your phone. A quick search with Google turned up a few promising leads, such as this one and this one. I searched for "mac tether iphone."
