I'm looking for more of a step-by-step guide.
I've been following general links that one for a while, but I keep running into roadblocks. (ie service isn't Mac friendly, etc...)
Look for a SIP provider and a SIP ATA (analog telephone adapter). Then just plug a normal phone into the adapter which connects via ethernet to your router. The Linksys SPA adapters are good.
