Wireless Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x88)
Wireless Card Locale: Worldwide
Wireless Card Firmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (5.10.91.21)

Can this card be used to extend a wireless network ?
I can only see an option to set up computer to computer network in the setup dialogue but perhaps I'm missing something .....

Thanks

You cannot extend AirPort networks with that card. No Mac can do that. Only base stations extend networks (WDS).

What you can do is share a wired connection over wifi to wireless clients or the other way around.
