Running Timecapsule makes apps non-responsive

	MBP linked wirelessly to TC. When TC is backing up & iWorks Pages is asked to open a file I get the spinning beach ball, ,ditto with Graphic Converter and Open Office. Force Quit says that app is not responding. Double clicking on a file in finder opens the app ok. All is ok when TC is not running. How can I solve this issue? Thank you for your attention
