Apple - Wi-Fi - Compare Wi-Fi base stations

Besides the 802.11n and 802.11ac differences, the ability to share a hard drive in the Airport Extreme model, the ability to play music with the Airport Express, faster ethernet in the Extreme model, what are the differences between these? What is the $100 getting me?

The extra cost gets you all the differences you listed (big ones!) along with SIMULTANEOUS dual-band operation, and another simultaneous "guest" network you can turn on or off. Not only can you run a hard drive off the USB port of the Extreme, you can run a hub off of it with a hard drive, printer/printers, and a bunch of other stuff. It makes a really versatile center point for a home network.

Two more Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, plus a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port too. The express has 10/100 WAN.

The Airport Express will do simultaneous 2.4 and 5 GHz networking.

Hmm, minor differences for my usage. I'll stick with the Express.
