Demo,
Would you mind if I submitted your excellent hack for colorizing the sidebar on MacOsXhints.com? I will naturally give you the credit. I just think it's something a lot of folks would love to do.
Lemme know.

Why hasn't anybody ever themed the itunes diplay then?
Where and how do I do it?
Well, my Plaster mod has it and I've definitely seen others (p.e. Siro).
If you add the iTunes skin in ThemePark, you have but 2 resources to edit : LCD Display (Large) and LCD Display (Small).

My first couple of tries hosed my Finder. Good old Mac OS 9 saved my .
What finally worked consistently for me is to first highlight the hex numbers to be replaced and then type in the new ones.
As always, HAVE A BACKUP!

Thanks for the link to serenity btw. Those are the blank dock seperators from MaxThemes. I put them in my dock and in the sidebar. Dock Separators Here <<<

thats odd, because it worked on mine...
ok lets do option #2 then
go here and download then "Aqua LCD" skin for iTunes. all that one does is change the display. get it, open that up in ThemePark and see what they did. they did exactly what i said above though, so i'm confused as why it didn't work for you.
ok, I'll try that then when I get home this evening - thanks again!

Stuffé
No stuffé
So many cool tricks over here. Thanks demograph
No, it isn't too hard.
Even I managed it, which is saying something. Felt a bit dodgy in progress, though, editing the system files like that. :shudders:

I know Max' dock separators. But what an original idea to apply them to the sidebar
And about Serenity : the Blue light icons are available on my site as plain mac folders (for people who perhaps can't handle Windows icons). Of course, this was done with heylove's kind permission. If anyone wants the other colors, I could transpose them as well on request.

Cool.
I will give appropriate credits and include the link to the thread (hopefully Rob will post the link).
