provokes discussion. taunts the viewer. put a teaser within the teaser. give people enough of a taste that they start salivating. you can almost feel the desire in these negative replies.

when i'm not culling art for features, i try to get out of this world and relax.

today's desktop features a heavily 'antiqued' image from the cover of one of the great graphic novels of all time, 'explorers on the moon.'

the orange rocket is from 'rocketship xm.' (starring lloyd bridges) another classic from a bygone era.

theme is still paper and plastic v.1 (is there a 1.5 or even a 2 in the works?)

have a nice day

blast off!

To commemorate my 1000th post heres my desktop:

So let's see here... Milk 2.5 Chocolate because Ive always loved Milk (was one of my first themes... after the now dead Pearl). World of Aqua Rev. 2 because they match so well and are very nicely done. Thunderbird and Newsfire because Im a sucker for pretty interfaces. Grab so I can put my snazzy pointer in there. Sticky Windows because its nifty. Burnout Menu so I can organize my many tasks for finals week. DeskShade because its good at organizing.

Unity looks good.

Too bad usability sinks to "non-existant" when you use your everyday apps (e.g. unreadable text).

Good work tho. too bad I can't use it.

I got it here. Its called Pixelzim 3x5, but I may have been using the bold version in my screen. Either way, they're both included.
Warning: Does NOT play nicely with Safari...
