Exactly. Until this thread gets so big it engulfs the entire forum, it should stay in one place. I don't want to have to keep chasing new Desktop threads all the time.

When this thread started, I was using a home built PC running BeOS and NetBSD. Since then, I have bought a 700mhz eMac, a PowerMac G4, and soon a PowerMac G5. When this thread debuted, Jaguar was out; now Tiger is.

I think it is incredible this has gone so long.

You've been here since June? We've had this discussion about every 20 pages or so. The general feeling is its tradition by now and most people go right to the last post so the other 200+ aren't an impediment.

@ChiLam, very nice screenshot, and i like your site (too cool for ie )

i see you use my photos border a lot. if you want i can send you the .psd for the new version. it was never released since i don't think it will work with snapshooter too well, but i think it looks better than the version you are using.

to create a thumb nail post use this template but without the spaces

[ url =full sized image address ][ img ]thumbnail image address[ /img ][ /url ]

as for a hosting site, i use www.photobucket.com and find it pretty good. i don't really know about any others.

Nice Ultraman ... awesome dock icons, as always
Can you tell me what you have in your dock?
Finder, iTunes, mail, Safari, and what's the thing right to safari? NewsFire?

Whatever, here's mine:

The theme is caeruleus, by carbonfiber. It's a beta version ... i really love it!

No comments about the preview image please (for tom: I KNOW IT'S HOT! )

Is the sun and clouds graphic part of the desktop image or is that a program running? Looks cool either way.

A credit card is just one means of payment Unsanity accepts. See the page below for details on how to pay via check/money order, or through a PayPal virtual credit card.
