Ever notice how much better column view looks when the icons are larger like that? I do wish there were a way to change the icon size (but not the text size as well) to have it so that all columns looked like that.

i think the theme is in the user mods section of max's forums. www.maxthemes.com
EDIT: yup. here
and the icons are that big when there is room to spare in the finder window. go in column view and click on "computer" and take a look for yourself.

I believe Spaztik created this.
Search MacNN threads for Aluminum Alloy and it will show up - I downloaded it off a link on this forum.

Some interesting snaps out there...
LadyBlue: Might want to turn off show borders in Adium preferences for a nicer effect. I dont know if you already know this, but I really like the way it looks without borders. The preference is located in Advanced>Contact List>Display Preferences. Nice desktop image
heidilux: Ok, I thought widgets were for the title bar of windows; the close, minimize, and maximize ones. Can someone please clear this up for me.
DanTM: Hey, if you were browsing around the User Modded Section in Max's forums did you by any chance see my mod of Milk? If so what did you think of it?
mac15: Ya, on Digital Ramen (wibs's site) I noticed that he was working on a Classix 10K port with you and cmove. Now I have no idea what Classix 10K is but it sounds spiffy.

Thanks. I got it from customize.org. They have a lot of nice ones that are similar to that. Thanks for the tip for Adium

How did you get it to show the date in the menu bar?

I use a replacement clock program called iClock. Search for it on Versiontracker.com

iClock is the ugliest $20 GUI app I've seen
in a long time. Try the freeware WClock.

If all you want is more date options and
not a plethora of badly made/half-assed
apps this is the one, now PTH has gone
commercial and made an app that replaces
his excellent menubar apps with a single
one that costs a colossal fifty bucks...
I would suggest WClock.
