Many of the people here have been finding themselves in need of AquaFix lately for one reason or another, and considering the official download link has a bandwidth cap of eight simultaneous downloads, it's almost impossible to get a slot. I've been trying literally for hours now. The author has been asking for people to mirror it, but even if you don't want to announce the mirror to the world at large, could someone possibly post a link to it here so us MacNNers could get at it? I'd be eternally grateful...

I've uploaded v1.7 (from Dec 20th) to my FTP server.
I don't have a heck of a lot of bandwidth so grab it while you can. I will be removing it in a day or so to avoid problems with my host.

I emailed the author, I'm planning on mirroring all releases that he would like me to in the future.

Doesn't fix my issue. After using the NeXt theme I have neve been able to use another theme other then the restore aqua theme that was bundled. Otherwise, i get next widgets in the finder, next icons in the finder and next icons in the login window. This aqua fix and the past versions have not been able to help. I replaced all the files manuially that I know of and deleted the next theme. Yet some how, if I ever switch themes with duality the next ghost icons reappear.

Wow, it seems aquafix has screwed up my system more now. I'm running 10.2.3, is there anyway i can reinstall 10.2? Not sure if I can update a future os or not.

Or if someone can give me an entire list of files that I need to replace. Now I'm stuck on the KMD theme even though using duality I never chose it. After running aquafix, duality just freezes now and there's no way to get rid of the KMD theme with next icons

You have to use Aquafix...restart...then delete the Duality preferences. Or else Duality will continue to place Next elements.

Dace- I jsut did no luck. I ran aquafix then restarted. Deleted everything duality the restarted. Then re-ran aqaufix and restarted and still have a kmd theme with next widgets. Anything else you can advise? Or tell me each and every file that needs to be replaced?
