Oh who cares about the legalsleeze crapola... Who do I have to beg to get the old Oscar "I love trash" extension carbonized or rewritten to work for OS X?
I feel in love with the color classic because of this goofy thing along with the old bigfoot extension and the disk eject puke sound effect and the talking moose.
Can an FP iMac run OS 8 just to show Oscar to someone else?

Yea I miss oscar too. There was a thread over at Ars Technica asking the same thing. I don't think anything ever came of it.

I think iCan can be designed to show animation and sound for trash icons. You could email the author about this.
I originally planned to design the Oscar trash icon for iCan but dropped it cuz iCan author got a note from Sesame Street staffs warning it not to break the copyright law by including any Oscar trash.
I drew up a simple sketch recently to show you guys what I originally planned to make:
