i'd like to change one folder, the default "untitled folder"

how can i do this without using something like candybar?

can i use resedit (in classic of course),
and where would i find the resource?

The resource is located at
/System/Library/CoreServices/SystemIcons.bundle/Contents/Resources/SystemIcons.rsrc

You can edit it using something like Iconographer
