Still not able to change thread titles, so hopefully everyone will let the old thread sink.

Announcing Watercolor v1.5 with the 4th color variant, Strawberry:

Proceed to my website to download the theme. (The theme is located in Main page > "Themes" > "Proceed to Watercolor..")

Enjoy

Hmm, that's odd... once you load the main page ( http://www.621.org/~carbon/ ) click on the "Themes" button. Then, choose "Proceed to Watercolor page". That should take you to the page with the preview images and the download links at the very bottom.

Please let me know if others are having problems getting the new site to load, I've tested it with several different browsers on many machines and all is well.

Carbon - That's exactly what I did. I even redownloaded it but its not there. Only the original three - silver, blue, and olive show up.
Hmmm.

Hmmm.
It should be in the same package as the others, .dlta allows the theme creator to include all the different variants in one package.

I. Was the file you downloaded named "Watercolor150.zip" or "Watercolor142.zip"?

II. Maybe your browser has an older version of my page cached and you just need to refresh or empty the cache. I had left the Watercolor142.zip file up over night but I've just removed it. The only thing I can think of is that you were getting the older version.

III. If you were getting the Watercolor150.zip package you should definitely have all of the components of the Strawberry variant, I've only tested this theme with ThemeChanger 0.5... make sure you're using that.

Maybe I just messed up the main.themescript, although I tested the theme before packaging it. Can anyone else confirm that they've downloaded WC 1.5 and can get Strawberry to show up and install fine?

Sounds great man, I also agree with the suggestion of the iContainers as an option. I've no idea how to create iContainers myself because I haven't had the time to look into it, but if you don't want to or don't have time to package them that way I don't mind doing it. Maybe shoot me an email sometime next week on what you think about this when you've got some free time.

Thanks again

I can't get Themeswitcher to switch to this.. it just hangs when launching helper or something (the very first step). I tried reinstalling Themeswitcher, but it didn't fix the problem. I was looking for the prefs file to delete it.. but I couldn't find it. Any advice?

The only theme installation utility I have tested and that I currently support is ThemeChanger v0.5 from http://www.clichesw.com/

Give that a try.

Heh, I'm sorry, but I meant Themechanger. That's the one I'm having problems with..

EDIT: I tried again, and it said "ThemeChangerTool terminated with status 4 ("Operation Failed"). However, I think this may be because I had to force quit themeswitcher before when it hung forever in that first step... let me try relogging in and trying again.

Well, I relogged in, and it just did the ole hang forever in the launching the themeswitching helper app stage. I found and eraserd its preferences before this btw. Not sure what's wrong.. I hope this will be fixed.

phillryu: This sounds like an issue between your system and ThemeChanger. The only thing I can recommend to you is to run the latest version of AquaFix on your system, and then make sure you have the latest version of ThemeChanger and re-install it. You should be good to go with installing any theme for Jaguar after doing that.

It did not work. Same error. (This time, it decided not to hang, but go straight to the error first switch.) Ehhh I'm debating about whether to do an archive/install just for themes.. don't know if its worth it

Just wanted to say this:

Carbon, thanks for an awesome theme. Exactly what I was looking for! Only problem I had was that the brushed metal apps weren't brushed anymore (and I kinda like the brushed effect). But that was easily fixed with ThemePark.

wagmedia, can't wait for those iContainers!

Update: I got theme switching working with Duality GT. Watercolor Strawberry looks really nice (However, you need an appropriate desktop background. The aqua background I had really clashed with this.)

Agreed, and I find that this guy has great pics with the same tint of pink to them! Check him out anyway.

Hmm I don't see any pink there... however, here are some red desktop backgrounds I found at pixelgirlpresents:

Some of these are very nice. I was always wondering if there'd ever be a theme that would fit these.

I had the theme on my computer and many of his pics worked amazingly. You just have to go through them all.

philzilla, I dig that desktop pic. Do you have a copy that doesn't have the Apple stuff on it? Or a download link?
