The 2nd one is the best I think, but would be better as a smooth stripes color variation.

The blue is quite tight.

I also think the blue one looks great.
It would look even better with the Jaguar Aqua widgets as in Max's Smoot Stripes.

Maybe Max could make this theme?

you could do the blue for the blue variation, and for the graphite, you could do a dark blue

The dark blue would definitely look great with a lack of stripes.. maybe socketed widgets? Reminds me of Rhapsodized (I think it's called).

I have thought about aqua color variations, but I don't have time for it. And it would cause me trouble because it would cause me to have the double amount of theme variations..
The only way I see that it would be possible is with a format like the one I suggested in the other thread.

I was actually going to do this with Simple Aqua. (Major Updates coming soon) But here is the problem.

Launch iTunes. BZZZZZZZT inconsistent. Launch iMovie BZZZZZZT same thing. Launch QuickTime.. etc. So not only would you have to change the Extras.rsrc you'd have to hack EVERY single OS X app that uses it's OWN resources.

I had 7 versions of Simple Aqua with 7 different color combinations.. it just wasn't consistent.

But I might consider updating them and putting them out. It just wont be consistent.

what would really rock would be if themepark had some sort of hsb slider to change resources' colors.. then everyone could have the color they wanted.

I've been evaluating this idea for a long time. I'll probably implement it at some point. Mainly because it would be fun to write.
