These are the changes:
BBX Mercury X 1.2
- New brushed appearance
- New titlebar buttons
- Added a finder toolbar chevron
- Added black menu extras
- Removed the subtle gradients in menus
- Removed the alert hand

Milk 1.6.1
- Moved icons out of the theme and into an Icontainer. You will need to get Candybar to use them:
http://www.iconfactory.com/cb_home.asp
- Removed some unused files which were left in the theme
- Changed the no brushed appearance a little

Get them both + the safari skins at my homepage (click signature).

That was the idea. I will be doing this to all my themes, except BBX Mercury X. Glad you like the change

No, there is not. If you don't like the brushed look, I recommend using Metallifizer and set the global setting to DeMetallifize. That will give you the same effect.

I'm glad you people like the update

That's what I'm doing. I love the new look! BBX is my new official theme! Thanks Max, it looks fantastic. I am even using Safari now due to your Safari theme. Now how about doing iTunes and QuickTime skins to match.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Hrm.. I use 62. I will make an update to the skin when a new offical version comes.

Nope, Milk is round.

That is a little too much work for me, and even if I did I don't think the result would be very satisfying because the skins are so limited.

I think Max's/W.Bart's is infinitely nicer. That brushed background idea could be made to fit in much nicer were it executed better. It feels like a patch job as is.

Oh man that KDE version. To be blunt it looks bad. Most KDE themes seem to be patch jobs.

I've seen a lot of KDE ports and most of them turn out to be pretty bad to only decent. People say they love KDE because it's so configurable. Maybe it's so configurable that people don't know how to configure it to look decent. They even managed to make Luna look *WORSE*.

Just my opinion though.

I agree that Max's BBX is much better than that KDE port. That patch-job reminds me of the Aqua WindowBlinds farces.

BBX Mercury is awesome.

One thing, though...is there a set of Finder toolbar icons for it? The default ones really look out of place.
