Hi!

Don't ask me why, but I like Motif and the look of IRIX and so I thought that this could be an idea for a theme.
It has to be something like a modern looking maybe with cool looking icons.

So what's you opinion about such a theme and is there someone interested in making such a theme?

Thx

Sorry, but I don't have any screenshots... Maybe a search with Google will help...

Here's some

You would have to seriously reverse-engineer all the goodness out of Apple's ATSServer to make fonts look that bad though...

Ugh, for those that don't look to like at lots of anime upskirt shots (WTF is wrong with people?), here is the second link for a Google search on "irix screenshots".

Hmm not slick enough for me... It would just look like another windows theme port and not a true Mac theme.

No need to go bashing anime now. You can't judge it by the shows that are out in the US... Only the worst come to the US. Yes I hate Dragon Ball, Pokemon, and Yugi-oh too. You need to see some quality ones like; X 1999 (TV not movie), Ghost in the Shell (also TV not movie), Vampire hunter D, Metropolis, Escaflowne (movie or show), Lain, and Read or Die to name a few... go watch some of those before you say anything about hating anime.

Yeah ... just give us an IRIX Theme .... That would be almost as sweet as the new SS_FinalCut theme I am waiting for ...

Check out http://www.5dwm.org for more IRIX compatible desktop pix.

Cheers, Martin

My intension is not to copy something, but combine some of the thing you will find in Motif and IRIX...
