These are some tips for developers on how to make their themes run faster with Duality 4.

If you want to reduce load times, convert your themes to xscheme. They take about %25 of the time to load, but hopefully there will be more optimizations in ThemeKit to close the gap.

To speed up theme changes, only include the resources you need to change in the Extras.rsrc file. This reduces the wait when the Extras.rsrc file is changed.

Do we really have to create a new thread for every single Duality aspect?

It just doesn't work for me. Seems that its impossible to authenticate from root.

"That doesn't matter. He believes in you."

i dont see why just changing the theme format would decrease load time for duality. i mean, it takes a short while for ThemeChanger to load and switch themes. i dont know weither its bad code or bad coding, but you have to change these things man. and get rid of the "BUY PRO NOW NOW NOW" banner ad. its just annoying. if its free, cool, dont add advertisements for the pro version.

Duality fighting for reign over ThemeChanger is like MicroSoft fighting over Open Source. You'll never win.

I just applied SS Final Cut, it didn't even apply all the theme and was slow and took forever for it to get done doing the "post-change checks" It may be a bug cuz it let me quit Duality.

If you ask me I see no advantage to Duality over ThemeChanger... But this new theme format might make it worth using.

Changing to XScheme reduces the load time because Duality uses a far different architecture than ThemeChanger. DLTA's and .themes must be translated into XSchemes on startup so that Duality can work with various things such as hashes. By using XScheme's Duality does not have to use the various bridges in order to read .dtla's or .themes. Hopefully the bridges will be more optimized soon.
