When it is released, I will absolutely be buying it. From the screenshots it looks strikingly similar to my version of Final Cut, especially the tabs. So, with these similarities I can assure that DVD Studio Pro will become a family member within the Final Cut theme with little work.

On the screenshots I saw that the menu bar is a bit different to FCP and I think some other elements are also a bit different. But anyway keep up your excellent work....

I really like this new look. Its kind of like a monochromatic SmoothStripes from Max.
Looks a whole lot better than the mish-mashy Final Cut Pro!

The tabs are nice... I'd like to see this in a theme.

Once it is released I plan to add this new look to the Final Cut family.

DVD SP will be released in October - if I am right. So this will be a long time to wait.
Is there any chance to get before the release of DVD SP?

I'll do my best but I will have to somehow get complete interface shots so I dont have to redo anything due to guessing.

Ive got those pics already but no matter what zoom I look at them in Photoshop in they are very pixelated. I would like to have smooth screenies to create my replicated elements from and there are also elements in a theme which arent present in the screenshots. I just want to assure that when I release it, it is COMPLETELY tight with the DVDSP2 GUI.
Im sure screenshots will start appearing rather quickly as all Apple pre-releases do.

I really, really, really like that look. I hope that is what 10.3 llooks like. Or someone creates a Theme EXACTLY like that. It's PERFECT!
I am currently using Smoothstripes (A modified version with the embossed widgets on the non-glossy look. Like it should be.) but that would be perfect.
I want it so much!
Notice how quite a fer controls are now inset, like Safari's buttons and Metal Widgets. I bet, and I'm making my prediction now, that 10.3 Aqua will have a brand new feel like that. Buttons and controls will be inset. THe Aqua buttons will have the more glassy look like recent metal window aqua buttons have had. (Like Safari's buttons.) And if we're lucky, a color choice like that, or at least a replacement to Graphite.
I really like that look.
Someone needs to get DVD Studio and extract the resources. Quick!

I noticed that they are set at 300 dpi but when resizing it to 72dpi, the actual size is 576x432 which is too small.
I guess you'd have to wait for a regular-size screenshots
I reallly like this theme badly!

I noticed that. They make the shot huge for publishers. But it's a Screenshot. There's no reason to even make a big version. They should have just provided a regular screenshot of it.
I really want to see this color as a choice.

I have a slight hunch that thye size them that way so that people like me cant work from them easily for purposes such as this.
I have already begun creating the mock up for this theme today. I will post the Photoshop mock-up when it is done. I wont be able to begin work on the actual theme for a few weeks though because I am Florida bound for 10 days starting tuseday Woo hoo

Ok, heres the mockup. Remember, Im only working from those horrible screenies from the PR site so far. Im not sure about the titlebar widgets but I know Im not gonna use theirs, they float and I hate the floating stuff.
Also, keep in mind, I'll be on vacation for 10 days so I wont be starting this till I get back. I just wanted everyone to know that I am on it. And it will definitely be out sooner than DVD SP2.
