I restarted today and when my machine came back up I thought X looked different. Then I noticed my appearance had switched from graphite to blue on me. Now I can't switch back. I open up my system preferences and under appearance blue is the only option, the menu doesn't even pop up, when I click it nothing happens.

I tried to use themechanger to restore aqua to see if that would fix it but it didn't. So I thought I'd try switch to a theme (currently not using any) but themechanger won't even let me switch "Error ThemeChangerTool terminated with status 4 ('Operation Failed')"

Anyone know what's happened?

I don't mind aqua in graphite, I've even learned to live with pinstripes after max changed smoothstripes, but these bright blue scrolls, popups and progress bars are too much.

Please help.

This should only be used as a last resort.

Have you tried running Aquafix? You should before you take any drastic measures

AquaFix saved my machine yesterday. Thank you, AquaFix. Back to Aqua for awhile -- themeing has fugged my machine up twice so far.
