Hy Guys,
I just finished my very first theme called "Green Apple".
I don't have any web page right now to post pictures (if someboy could host the preview picture momentarily that would be awesome), sorry about that...
It's a fairly simple theme based on light grey/dark grey menus with widgets (and the rest) made of ..green.
If any of you guys want to try it and give me some feed back just let me know. I'll be glad to distribute it.

I'd like to thank Swiz and Max who inspired me a lot about going into the theme stuff by making such wonderful themes..

I hope you'll like my "green Apple"..

Just sent it by email.. You'll also find some desktop pictures that I made..All green

BTW: I tested my theme with 10.2.4 and 10.2.5. Both are fine..

BTW, how big is it? (I'm on 56k, so I have to "plan out" my downloads and what not)

It's 1.3 Mb..I didn't compress it..It's a .dmg..

Ok, I've just received it and applied it, and here's my mini review:

I really like the type of green you chose, as well as using gray for aqua. And the scrollbars, Finder buttons, etc. are nicely understated. Here are some things that I personally think need changing/tweaking:

- The widgets aren't consistent... for example, when using non-brushed apps, you can easily tell that the right widget has a much darker outline than the left widget, and the left has a darker outline than the middle widget

- The Apple menu icon is blurry and is slightly more blueish in color than the widgets

- Personally, I think some kind of texture/shape to the titlebars would be nice (like how Aqua's titlebars are rounded), but maybe that's just me

- To be honest, I don't really like the menus, especially the bright green selection things, and I think the background needs to be a couple shades lighter

Mostly, it boils down to consistency... there are some things that just don't quite fit in, especially the menus.

Still, many congratulations on the theme!

It's certainly a very useable theme, and doesn't get in the way at all.

Yeah I know..I forgot to change them..I'll do it this week end..

It doesn't look blurry on my powerbook...I'll test it on my iMac later.

I'll do that in a theme variation but I want a keep them as they are on this one

I like the selections You're right about the menu, I'll lighten it a little bit.

Hmm... could've just been me...? I have a wee lil' 12" iBook screen, so sometimes I see things strangely.

Again, many congrats on the theme.

My favorite part is the scroll bars, radio and check buttons, dialog box buttons, etc... they all are very nicely understated, like toned down Aqua, plus using my favorite color.

(And that Cayenne desktop is fabulous!)

Yep..I like the green too..

About the cayenne desktop I got it in this forum, don't remember where and from whom (BTW thanks to him) and just apply a bit a green..

Great theme ... especially the interface color is great .... it resembles the look of sun's CDE environment ... (I mean the overall color of the interface ... )
However ... I'd change the Menuitem rollovers ... and remove the gradient with something less obstructive ...

But it is a very good theme we have here.

You got it (email..sent...). It's a bit different now from the previews..I modified details here and there, mostly for the metal apps..
