Since this is a GUI problem as opposed to an application problem/discussion, this thread is being moved to the GUI forum.

Canybar should work fine to change the finder icon. Did you restart your computer afterwards? That's probably necessary.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Are you using anything else to hack the dock? That might also interfere.

My $.02: I'm using a transparent Minimize-In-Place dock, and I customized my Finder icon without problem. If CandyBar can work with a leaked build...

Are you sure you're using the appropriate version of CB for the OS version you're running?

Best of luck.
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Yeah, everything else worked right

I WAS using the version for 10.2.5, but I now have upgraded to 10.2.6, so I don't know if the CandyBar that's available now will work. But I guess it is just a matter of days before we get an update
