I don't know if this is a known issue or not but I've noticed a minor annoyance with the FatalE theme (black variation, I haven't tried silver)

I use the "scroll to here" setting in general preferences but in the Finder, when I click towards the bottom of the scroll well, the window won't scroll to that position. Instead the bar jumps to there and then snaps back to where it was without scrolling the window.

I have to place the pointer a ways up the scroll well before it'll find a position it'll jump to.

I've never noticed this with any other theme so I can only assume it's a theme bug.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I have, and have had for a long time now, the same problem, though I never bothered to report it. It's pretty ****ing annoying though.

Hey guys, well I was aware of the problem w/ the actual scrollbar thumb not lining up w/ the scrollarrow endcaps... but I also thought this was mearly a cosmetic issue and I still intend to work it out w/ the Watercolor and FatalE updates planned between the release of Meteora and the start of Classix. I wasn't aware that it was causing issues when you are using the "Scroll to here" setting because I've never used that.

You can see the gap here:

I think I just didn't make the endcaps tall enough (on the vertical bars) or wide enough (on the horizontal bars). Either way, I've been intending to ask either Max or Swiz for a better solution rather than just making the endcaps attached to the scrollarrows bigger.

Thank you for bringing this bug to my attention, I can see now that it's more annoying than just a little cosmetic issue w/ elements not lining up correctly.

For those keeping tabs, my last final is on Thursday, then I plan to start working on Meteora again either this weekend or next week. Hopefully (*hopefully*) Meteora will be out by months end. Then, I will nail down the scrollbar issues in Watercolor and FatalE (as well as some other things for FatalE to finally get it to v1.0). After those updates, like I said, I plan to start working on the Classix port. If you are aware of any other actual bugs in either Watercolor or FatalE now would be a good time to bring them up so I know about them before I release the updates.

I haven't noticed any other bugs besides the scrolling and the gap but if I could make a suggestion, rather than that button-like widget where the Apple menu would be how about an actual Apple logo in the FatalE style?

I realize this is a port but where that button makes sense on Windows (Start button) it's out of place on OS X since the Apple menu is not a button.

Any chance of semi-transparent menus since they are also an OS X hallmark? On my 8600 (400 Mhz G3 with Radeon PCI) I honestly don't see a performance penalty between transparent and opaque menus.
