Hey - new switcher here trying to figure out a way to use pictures from the Cosmos, Forest, and Beach screen savers as wallpaper. I can't find the pictures on my computer (17" powerbook) though. Any help out there?
Thanks!

go to /system/library/screensavers and right click ( or control-click) any of the ".slidesaver" files then select "show package contents" , go contents>resources there you can find all of the .jpg files ,copy paste them to your preffered location

Do what I do. Create a "Desktop Pictures" or "Wallpaper" folder in the "user (that's you)" -> Pictures -> "Desktop Pictures (put that here)".

Apple doesn't care where you put the background images. Put them whereever you feel most comfortable and then drag the folder to the image well in the Desktop Pref Pane.
