When I first used Candybar I installed the WOA set and used it pretty much exclusively since. I now want to switch to SNOW.E 2 and while Candybar will allow me to after the initial restart (though for some reason it won't switch out the trashcan), a subsequent restart will revert some of the icons to WOA. WTF! If I launch Candybar afterwards it notifies me that "an icon was modified by another application" and that "one of the icons is not the known system default." I then have to choose between the "currently installed icon" WOA and "Candybar's backup" (system default).

I've since trashed WOA off of my computer but the little sh*ts still show up. I've checked the Candybar folder in Users/*/Library/Candybar/ and they all appear to be system default. Is there a Candybar cache elsewhere on the computer?

I've tried deleting the .plist, repairing permissions, and even re-installing with no luck. Any ideas?

Could it be something to do with themechanger? I noticed every time after I changed themes I also had change or reapply the icon set i was using.

Try running AquaFix to return everything to defaults, and then install the Snow icon set.
A bit extreme perhaps, but it has worked for me when some "left-over" refused to die.

Yeah, thanks for leading me down the correct path. It seems that I must have had WOA installed when I backed up Aqua with Themechanger. I deleted theme changers restore and it seems to have worked.

Now I'm having a different problem. All the icons change fine without reverting but now I can't change the trash icon in the dock. I opened the dock app package in the coreservices folder and the .png files are there but they don't display (I still have the default mesh waste basket). Any ideas on this?

I have the same problem but am using 10.3.3 and AquaFix says to not use it for 10.3.x unless "your masochistic." Any suggestions to fix this problem? Thanks.
