what does it mean when the author of an outdated theme mean when he/she says that they are not interested in updateing a theme for whatever reason...
does it mean too bad you're out of luck?
does it go on the theme scrap heap?
...maybe theme heaven or hell?
flavor me curious...people who are stupider then me need to know...

It usually means that Apples GUI guys have killed another great themer by changing heaps of the elements in an OS update, rendering there themes unstable.
Hopefully OS 10.3 will end this custom GUI stupidity once and for all.
HEY Apple get real and bend with the wind before your branches break.

which theme are you thinking of that you want updated? A lot of times themers probably get the feeling that no one ever tried, or used, or liked their theme and what's the point of continually trying to keep up with Apple's changes, especially if they don't even use the theme themselves. I always wondered if anyone downloaded my old theme and used it for more than a few minutes. It's amazing how after months of work how you never know (except for Max and Swiz of course), and I've heard that same sentiment from a few other themers.... too bad resexcellence or the other theme pages don't have feedback or reviews or something...

I had no idea bumping an existing thread would cause a race/gender/sexual preferences war. All I really wanted was to find out what happened to Pez!
Not that I haven't participated in a few senseless wars myself, but this one was just stupid.

well i have whole collecton of themes from way back...including T1 and T tew...and i know about theme fur but it only adds resources it does not ''update'' the theme...if ya know what i mean...
i was kinda partial to sosumi and the author has pretty much said he's not updating it...zamphire i think...
by the way mrtew your theme is looking good...left a note in the thread...
i am also working on a theme but am waiting for panther to see what's up...
