How about an Aqua Plastic as seen here:

Looks mostly like smooth stripes gloss to me.

I don't see a point in having a whole new theme that just changes some Finder buttons.

It would have plastic push buttons, etc. like in Brushed. Not just finder buttons

I spoke to Max about that the other day he said he has had a look into that style and he will wait and see what happens with the 10.3 GUI look.

Eh, it's pretty but that would be uncomfortable clicking on a pointy titlebar. It looks like it is designed to make your finger bleed

I have my own mockup of the same idea, but I don't go as far as menubar/titlebar and Apple menu, because I don't think the Platic look is right for them. But I've already said that I'm looking into making a theme like this, not sure how long it will take though..
