Just to look back a bit, for inspiration etc.: What are/were your favorite OS 9 Schemes/Themes?

For a refresher, you could visit http://kaleidoscope.net/schemes/

Bold Line gradually became my favorite, but I think it's an acquired taste

Woh, how odd. I was thinking of asking the same thing too...now that I'm stuck using OS 9 I wanted to find great K-Schemes.

I like most of Albie Wong's themes first then Dragon Tongue. I also like Maury McCown's RAILhead design and QNX K-Schemes. Oh, can't forget all the BBX K-Schemes. Then there's the Sharp Indigo, Graphite and Tang K-Schemes which I can no longer find (does anybody still have them?). Then there's the SmoothStripes and Brushed K-Schemes...and a ton more that I'm too lazy write down. For appearance themes, there's the Apple ones (Gizmo, Hi-Tech and Drawing Board...anyone know where I can get those?) the luscent, Sosumi and Tugray paper themes.

Don't let the doozies crap on your nostalgia - there were some absolutely stunning designs produced with Kaleidoscope whose influence did a great deal in shaping many of the trends still going strong today. Make no mistake, there was some real sh*t as well (the vast majority in fact) - just don't dismiss the entire Kaleidoscope thing out of hand because of a few bad eggs, that's all I'm saying, yo'...
