Can someone tell me where this file is located? Here is a smaller version of it...

http://homepage.mac.com/allanm78/UsersPref.tiff

I thought it would be part of the package contents of "loginwindow.app" but apparantly not.

Here are the three locations I've found for that icon:

/System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgent.app/Contents/Resources/UsersPref.tiff
/System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgentPlugins/loginwindow.bundle/Contents/Resources/UsersPref.tiff
/System/Library/PreferencePanes/Accounts.prefPane/Contents/Resources/UsersPref.tiff

One of those is probably the one used in the loginwindow... I guess you could just change 'em all and see what happens.

I wouldn't bother with the third one. I think the second one would be the best bet, but I'd change both the first and the second.

Were you looking for a larger version?

I dont think there is, user pictures are 48x48 in OS X (for the time being ).

Thanks to all who replied. I found what I was looking for in the locations Phoenix suggested.

I wanted that file to use as my login picture. I think the one I had is an older version. It may be 48 x 48 but it has a drop shadow which makes it seem smaller. It also looks more heavily anti-aliased. It isn't obvious until you see it with the new one in the login panel.

Earlier versions had a drop shadow, but in later versions of the of the (>10.1 I think) the drop shadow was applied automaticaly to any image you use.
