I'm currently using themechanger for all my theme needs... but it does not handle icons very well. I downloaded iconographer the other day and did some manual icon changes using the guides at this site:

...but it ended up screwing up random icons that were not even supposed to be altered. I ended up having to replace the "SystemIcons.rsrc" file completely with a backed up copy.

My question is this: Is there an app like themechanger that only manages icons? (Or a program of any sort for that matter that ony manages icon sets automatically?) Doing all this digging through my system files seems a little dangerous! thx

IconFactory and Panic Software are currently working on an app called Pixadex. It is supposed to do for icons what iTunes did for music. According to IconFactory's website, it should be released any day now. You can see a screenshot of it here:
