So what's the word on Panther themes after all the discussion? Will there be a way to theme?

Panther is currently in beta. How is anyone, aside from Apple's engineers, suppose to know the answer to that question. Some may be able to speculate, but aren't you able to do that on your own?

What a rude reply lacking any intelligent comment.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to come across from rude, but I do think it's absolutely true.

1. Panther is in beta.
2. Until it's final, none of us will know the answer with any certainty.
3. Only Apple's engineers know the answer to this question.
4. All we can do is speculate, which is something that you can do as well.

All the above are facts, and none of which are meant to be rude in anyway. I think you just got an answer you didn't like, and therefore lashed out as some sort of defensive measure :-s

Actually it's not even a beta. It's still in development stages.

Maybe it's because it has been discussed in many other threads before.

as far as I can tell, all the required files are still there (Extras.rsrc, et al) so as long as they're not checksummed at startup iPod style, it should be just as themeable as previous versions of OS X

Note: I am not a themer.

You can't eat all those hamburgers, you hear me you ridiculous man?
