Anybody know the commands to type in terminal to make the dock transparent? I know programs exist to do this, but I am specifically looking for the terminal commands.

I have a feeling that it takes more than a terminal command. I think it requires an APE or and entire program to make it happen. Why do you ask? And why do you think it can be done with a terminal command anyway?

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

I am pretty much sure it is possible to do it only via the terminal.

Check MacOSX Hints. They have so many of these nutty tips, they just might have it.

With the terminal you can only make the inside of the dock transparent, to get rid of the border you need a third-party program.
Dooby, dooby doo.

I believe the only way to make a dock transparent is to replace images with transparent ones.. so I doubt it's possible to do only via the terminal.

I think that was only in OSX 10.1 I don't think the new dock has any images to replace anywhere.
