Looks really good... can't wait for a release. It seems like some of Meteora's design elements migrated over, which is a good thing.
As usual, the lack of big ol' Apple shadows looks nice and clean. (Thank you WindowShade!)

Yup, exactly what I was going for and I really liked it up until I launched Safari... damn you Apple.
There's also one very minor border issue in Adium 2's new custom Brushed Metal / Safari interface but I can live with that.

Ooohh... screenshot looks nice. A theme I might actually consider using in place of Aqua!

Ok, well for better or worse I've come to a compromise for the new brushed metal interface to make it look flawless in Safari (and Adium2, even though the issue isn't apparent in Panther afaik)
I hope it still has the same appeal... thoughts?

I had never used this theme before but I'm using it now, and I'm liking it, especially what you have done with the brushed metal. Quality job.

you know the background behind the widgets in the toolbar in the metal windows is different than the background in the regular windows? well, i was wanting to change it so all the windows had the brushed metal style, so, uh, how would i do that. i can do the work i just dont know where the resources are. thanks ahead of time

You'll be able to find the "widget box" for the brushed metal windows in the "Metal Bevel..." PXM's... should be the first one, the just make a custom titlebar for the standard windows and you're good to go more or less. You'll probably have to resize the widget box though because BM apps have smaller widgets than Aqua apps in FatalE.

Carbon, any chance that you can throw together a quick toolbar set for Safari as well?
Beautiful theme, great job.

i still want to know how to make a custom titlebar people.
i've made one so titlebars match the metal version...i can send it to you so you can paste it in using themepark...i haven't done the black but i can wip it up in a minute so you'll have both...i shouldn't think carbon will mind...

Is that a put down?
Anways, I think the new browser make-overs look great, as does the theme. I've been using it for several days in a row now, which is quite a feat!
It just looks perfect on my TiBook... and it doesn't get in the way of designing graphics.

Catsank,
what exactly is your point? you don't like the theme - don't use it. you want to make a better one - go ahead and make it. you want to talk winamp skins - you are in the wrong place buddy. you want to turn this winamp theme into an OSX theme - try it.

Sorry, never remember to look at the timestamps on messages ... That's the problem with someone bringing back old threads that I've missed the first time around ...
