Someone suggested doing one in the style of Wind Waker, so I did. It complements the icons well. (I know there are a few out there who have nothing but Zelda icons on your desktops -- I've seen it.) Enjoy. Post any custom poofs here if ya want, too!

Looks, cool, but what if it was more like the game, where the smoke kinda spreads out, hugging the ground, with the center flaring up? Think of those slow mo videos of water drops.

What I mean is, what if it was from the side instead of from above? It matches your vertical icons better kinda, and you could make it look spiffier. Is it possible to have more frames in those?

The GIF might not be at the same speed as it animates in the Finder. It actually looks better in the Finder (without all the white patches). Besides, I only had five frames to work with -- if I could've done more, I would've made it really smooth and elaborate. Meh, it looks good when you install it.

Anyone know if you can increase the amount of frames? The image is 128x640. Each frame is 128x128 and split into 5 frames. If I wanted 10 frames, anyone know if I could just double the height to 1280? I could make an awesome poof then.

Only thing I found with rows was back in the 10.1 days when you had masks and PDFs. Now it's a PNG file, and it appears five frames is the max. Ah well. Still some nifty thing can be done.
