Obviously, this is rather unfinished... the Aqua elements (all of them) will be going bye-bye soon, but while I've received some positive feedback on this I've also received some not-so-positive feedback, and I wanted to find out which was in the majority.
Not that it will really affect much in the end -- I'll probably finish the theme regardless.

A darker green would look better with that gold.
I don't like the colors, but the design is good.

Very interesting. It's almost retro-like.
Make it go more 60's, and I'm happy

I agree. That green color could be either neutral (grayish-green) or darker.

I agree too, actually... only problem is that if I make the green much darker, the text will become illegible... maybe I'll give it a shot anyway and see what happens. How much darker should it be?

I think you need to make the color behind the close/min/max widgets, as well as the toolbar button, lighter. It seems darker than the lightest color on the tab gradient.
But props for those tabs! Nice combination of Panther style button/tabs and Jaguar/traditional style tabs! Don't know whether you meant them that way though.

The design is excellent (and could very much be a daily-use theme), but like what's been mentioned, the colors aren't my (and a lot of people's, presumably) cup of tea. Actually, I think you could go many directions with this... you could make a relatively "fun" theme with some semi-bright colors; you could keep the gold and do something to that green (dump it for gray or make it a different shade of green; or you could go the route and making it a dialy-use theme with neutral colors. Hell, if you've got a lot of initiative, you could even make variations-- make a useable variation, and make a "fun" variation!
(BTW, on a more technical note, the antialiasing on the "tabs" isn't too good... I'm talking about the sides that skew downwards at an angle-- the lower-mid-section of those lines is really blurry)

This is true but its the grayish themes which people usually stick with because of their unobtrusive nature while designing.

Themes that look kinda cool with bright colors are usually totally blinding once you actually try them and see it EVERYWHERE. I think you need to tone it down some too or people will install it for about 5 minutes. Maybe something like this....

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Exactly...... I have a combination theme with elements from BBX, Brushed, Regia and Pro Plastic all of which have been tweaked to remove all traces of color.
Grayscale is so........ soothing.

I LOVE the colors of your theme!!! I am not seeing ANY thing except more and more and more and MORE gray themes...which are fine, but sometimes you need a break! And yours provides that VERY well!!
PLEASE do NOT change the colors or anything like that with this theme...just keep going! We need a theme that is not just another shade of gray!!
Thanks!!!!!!

This theme is looking really good. I really dig the tabs!
I would use it if it had more grey, more blue, and maybe a touch of chrome. I know this sounds sarcastic, but I am totally serious.
Thanks for all the hard work so far!
